This piece of music was originally 'Track 1' on Dawn's Butler's album 'With the Stars', which was released in 2022. After writing the picture book 'My Cosmonaut's Trinkets', Tom and Sam realised that this piece of music was ideal for the atmosphere of the story. They decided to use this composition as the main theme tune for the audiobook version of 'My Cosmonaut's Trinkets'. The audiobook version of 'My Cosmonaut's Trinkets' was created and narrated by Andrew Cortes.

Dawn's Butler - The Companionship's Main Theme Tune - Soundtrack

This piece of music was originally written for an animation project which was created by the Animation Course at Solent University, Southampton, back in the academic year of 2012-2013. Unfortunately, the animation project was never finished.
Ten years later, Tom and Sam rediscovered the music on an old USB drive, and by absolute coincidence the tune fitted the feel of 'The Companionship' series just right!
It was used in the audiobook 'The Companionship in A Case of O.C.D.' narrated by Aaron Reep.

Composing for Animation Students at Solent University, Southampton 2012 - 2015
Between the years of 2012 and 2015, Tom Sanders attended BA (Hons) Computer and Video Games course at Solent University, Southampton.
During his time at the University, he was given three opportunities to create music for the Animation staff and students. He passed this work to his brother Sam Sanders. The images provided are from an animation short called 'Cats - Away' created by Yasmin White. Each of the three animations that Sam composed for, were shown at the 'End Of Year' Shows hosted at Solent University, Southampton and the Harbour Lights Picture House in Southampton.
