This Privacy Policy describes how your personal data is collected, used, and protected when you visit Sanders Sound & Picture (www.sanderssoundandpicture.co.uk), operated by Tom Sanders & Sam Sanders - in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

We update our website regularly to make sure all of the information we provide is accurate.

Sanders Sound & Picture is a UK-based company, who specialises in writing children's books and composing music. This website allows readers and listeners to find information about our books, our music, our products, to contact us, and to sign up for our newsletters or updates.

2. What Data do we collect from you?

We collect your personal information when you contact us via email or by phone. This is to help inform us of your identity, when you send us a request, make an enquiry, or ask for a quote.

  • Title, Name and Home Postal Address

  • Email Address, Phone Number and Mobile Number

  • Company's Name, Company's Postal Address, and Your Company's Contact information

 

We may also use any information you include in your messages or comments on our social media platforms​​. So, please be careful what you write. If you don't want to provide us with certain information about yourself, please don't send it to us.

Our website also collects information from you automatically, which you consent to when you visit our website.

We do not take card payments on our site. All payments that you make are taken through the preferred online retailer of your choosing, and then the royalties are transferred to us via BACS.

 

For commissions we only accept BACS (unless we interact with you outside of the internet, in that case we also take cash and cheque), which you can pay to us through the information provided by us on our invoices, once we have completed the work for you. This means that we do not store any of your personal financial information, unless you have invoiced us for work we have requested from you, or in the case you have requested a refund for our services.​​

3. Why do we collect this data?

We collect your personal information when you contact us via email and phone call, so that we can provide the best and the most accurate service to your request, whatever that maybe.

 

​The only reasons for us to ask you for your personal information are to provide our services and obligations to you, and to comply with legal requirements and regulations.​​

4. How do we use that data?

We use your personal information for our own record keeping, to update your personal information in our records, and to send you relevant information regarding any requests you have made to us. We will also use your information to improve our services, and to comply with legal obligations.

We may use your email address to send you useful information to update you about us and our services. If you do not want to receive these emails, please feel free to reply to them, and tell us to not include your email address as a recipient any more. 

We may also send you a newsletter if you have subscribed to them. If you have subscribed to them, but you want to 'opt-out' of the subscription, please hit the 'unsubscribe' button at the bottom of the email.

The only personal information we keep of yours is the most recent and accurate information you have provided to us to date.
